This is the live performance of my piano solo Threads. It’s a piece about connection — the way our actions ripple outward and reach people we may never even meet. During the concert, this moment felt especially powerful. The room went very still, and it was one of those times where the music seemed to move on its own. Threads is part of my Arelius project, which explores themes of transformation, reflection, and the quiet moments in life where something shifts inside us. The projections you see behind the piano were created to mirror the imagery of the piece — threads of light rising upward, symbolizing the way we’re all linked, even when life feels scattered or uncertain. This is Origins — a solo piano piece I wrote on a day when everything finally slowed down. I’m usually moving fast, thinking big, talking loud. But this came from a quieter place — the kind of space you only find when no one’s watching. The melody showed up like a memory. Simple, no tricks. Just something honest that needed to be played. This performance was recorded on my upright piano, and everything you hear is rooted in that moment. It’s raw in feeling, intentionally spacious, and emotionally direct — nothing added that didn’t need to be there. There’s a moment in the middle — the bridge — where the tone shifts. It moves away from what the ear has settled into, and I’ll be honest, I almost left it out. But that section says something important. It reflects how real journeys feel — not always neat, but deeply human.
